kakashi from the Effective Go community has observed that many open source projects are relatively mature, making it difficult for people new to the community to find a way to get involved. Therefore, kakashi shared how it is easier for beginners to contribute and the process of learning from participation.

Children’s education cannot wait! In addition to the agenda for adults, this year’s conference also featured the COSCUP kids agenda. The kids’ agenda includes two days of rich courses, DIY classes, experiential games, etc., so that our little open-source friends can learn new things while their parents are out. At the same time, we also had a visit from the famous rabbit, Tabby Rabbit, and it made all the kids screaming with excitement~

As the event came to an end, it’s time for the annual amazing and hilarious Lightning Show! This year, we changed the location to the largest main auditorium to allow more people to come in to see the show. But it was so packed that the doors were on the verge of bursting!

This year’s event finally ended successfully! At the closing ceremony, Denny, the General Director mentioned that the positioning of COSCUP is 40% listening to the agenda, and 60% making friends. With no required registration process this year, new open-source friends had more opportunities and willingness to come out and join the event. They can easily catch many legendary experts in the corridor at any time.

Also, the General Director Denny mentioned that due to the impact of the pandemic this year, COSCUP had less corporate sponsorship. So the COSCUP team is very grateful to the passionate and open-source individuals who sponsored COSCUP personally to support the conference at this difficult time. The COSCUP team couldn’t do this so successfully without their help!
